The "meteor" cutscene uses different graphics. The Vortex Queen falling through the clouds is cut from the final version, but the data for it still remains in the final game's code. The prologue text is mostly the same as in the final version, except that "THOUGHT" is misspelled as "THOUGT". It doesn't display a Sega logo or any title screen or copyright information. Let us know in the comments below.This Ecco prototype shows the universe prologue and the vortex cutscenes right away. Peripheral support, including controllers, seems to be pretty good from the product reviews. Here's your chance to give them another try. As a Nintendo kid, I missed out on a lot of the early '90s console classics. Especially if your parents were cool enough to get you a Genesis. With the exception of the Ecco games (I never could get behind a game about dolphins), I highly recommend every title on the list. Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master.
